Today i m gonna tell you how to protect from gamemenu.res and config.cfg replace in cs 1.6
step 1: go to cstrike folder and open properties of config.cfg
step 2: click on read-only and apply
step 3: go to cstrike/resource and open properties of gamemenu.res
step 4: click on read-only and apply
if you need default gamemenu.res and config.cfg

and the saved and clicked read only, then started the game to make sure it worked or not, but the file isnt changed and the label with the servers is still there, i dont know what is the problem, im even tried to replace the file, but nothing changed
